Have you browsed the 360 Marketplace online yet?
No? Maybe it's time you did (For me it's faster than trying to do it via the 360 ).

From there you can look at all marketplace content, from the latest stuff to game or genre specific content.
Sign in with your profile details and you can even download content from the web to your 360.
After purchasing the next time you sign in it's beging the download process.
How good is that.

New festive clothing is availble for your avatar
The next time you sign in to Xbox LIVE, be sure to check out the new winter items just released for your avatar. All of the items are completely free, so try them all on for JUST the right look.

Tip: It is easy to tell what is new when you are in the avatar editor, just look for the gold star. Any item of clothing with a gold star is new since your last sign in.

NXE HDD Install File Sizes
Want to install a game to the HDD after the update on the 19th of November but not sure if you have the space?
Thankfully some guys at CheapAssGamer have compiled a short (but growing) list of install sizes.

Emergence Day 2.0
This friday sees the release of Gears of War 2, the sequel to the hit 2006 game. But apart from the campaign that follows on from the first what's changed? Well here's a quick list of some new and changed features that's sure to make the experiance rewarding:
New Horde mode - you and 4 other players vs 50 waves of locusts. Work together or die alone.
New Executions - as well as the curb stomp and the chainsaw there's now about 8-9 other executuons to perform (including using the sniper rifle as golf club, ouch)
Down but not out - when you're downed in the game you can now crawl to buddys for help instead of staying still.
Dynamic environments. How about an avalanche that sweeps through the multiplayer map at a random time in the game?
Meat shield - Downed an opponent and want the ultimate humilation? rather than finishing him off just pick him up and use him as a human shield. Better than t-bagging.
5v5 Multiplayer - 4v4 seemed small but 5v5 turns it up a notch, oh and i forgot to mention, you can have AI BOTS fill out the spaces.
Camera mode - Liked a bit where you beat someone in multiplayer? Take a picture of it and upload it up the web

Rock Band 2 and Guiter Hero World tour go head2head
MTV, Harmonix, and EA have announced the official release date for the sequel to the all-too-recently released rhythm game. November 14th is the date that Europeans and United Kingdominians will be able to get their hands on the disc-only version of the game, priced at €69.99 and ฃ49.99 respectively, with the instruments going on sale by themselves sometime in December

*Update* Apprently Harmonix aren't that brave, they are releasing Rock Band 2 in Europe on the 14th, just not in the UK.

Game-breaking bug in Fable II
We are aware that a minority of people playing Fable(r) II over the last few days have encountered an issue where the Abbot becomes unresponsive at the beginning of Monks Quest in Oakfield. This is an isolated issue, but we are currently looking into it as a matter of priority. If you have already encountered this issue, there is unfortunately no work-around at this time, but we will keep you updated on any progress made.

If you want to avoid this issue, when you go to the Abbot for the first time don't run away and leave the region after he has started talking to you. Listen to him, let him finish his cut-scene, and then you are free to do what you wish.

There is also a bug in co-op that can erase all your gold and experiance if oen player is a child in the game and the other isn't. More info as we get it

Have a 360 Core or Arcade - Get a free 512mb Mem card or cheap 20GB HDD
Due to the new avatar system coming in the NXE dash update requiring upto 256mb of space it kinda puts early 64mb memory card users out of luck.
But have no fear, Microsoft will help you.
Simply go here, fill out your console Id and serial number, and see if your console is eligible for a free 512MB memory card OR a 20GB HDD at a discount price.
